Job Description

The Training Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of our sales and distribution teams. This position is primarily responsible for the development and facilitation of engaging training programs, alongside crucial fieldwork and ride-alongs with our sales professionals across the Philippines. This role works closely with and reports to the Learning and Development Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Development: Assist the Learning and Development Officer in designing and developing comprehensive training materials, modules, and programs tailored for sales and distribution teams, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Training Facilitation: Deliver engaging and effective training sessions (both in-person and online) to employees across various levels and regions within the sales and distribution network.
  • Field Work &: Ride-Alongs: Conduct regular field visits and ride-alongs with sales personnel across the Philippines to observe real-world sales scenarios, identify training needs, provide on-the-spot coaching, and gather feedback for program improvement.
  • Needs Assessment Support: Assist in identifying training gaps and areas for development within the sales and distribution teams through observation, feedback, and data analysis.
  • Performance Support: Provide ongoing support, coaching, and mentorship to sales professionals to reinforce learned concepts and improve performance.
  • Reporting: Track training effectiveness and participant progress, providing regular reports to the Learning and Development Officer.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of L&D processes and training content based on feedback and evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with a minimum of 1 year in training, sales, or a related role, preferably within a sales and/or distribution environment.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written, English and Filipino).
  • Ability to travel frequently across the Philippines for field work and training sessions.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
