Department: Sales Operations | Reports To: Sales Support Lead

Position Overview

The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in the revenue engine at CompassMSP. Acting as the operational backbone of the sales team, this individual is responsible for producing accurate, professional quotes that enable a seamless quote-to-cash process. Working closely with Sales Representatives, this role ensures every opportunity moves efficiently from initial request to closed deal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and manage quote requests submitted by Sales Representatives through ConnectWise Manage, ensuring all tickets are triaged and actioned promptly
  • Build and deliver accurate, professional quotes using ConnectWise Sell, including managed services agreements, hardware, software, and professional services
  • Research and identify the correct products, part numbers, vendors, and pricing to meet customer requirements and sales specifications
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor catalogs, pricing tiers, and distributor portals to source the most competitive and appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales Reps to clarify scope, confirm configurations, and resolve any discrepancies before quotes are delivered to the customer
  • Ensure quotes are structured to support a fast and accurate quote-to-cash workflow, minimizing downstream billing errors or delays
  • Manage quote revisions, version control, and follow-ups within ConnectWise Sell

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or inside sales role MSP or IT industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software licensing, cloud services, and managed services offerings
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to quote accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Sell (or similar PSA/quoting platforms)
