Role Overview:
The Sales Supervisor oversees the performance and productivity of the sales team, ensuring targets are met through effective planning, coordination, and leadership. This role combines daily supervision with sales planning, client management, and process oversight. It also supports management in ensuring accurate pricing, commission monitoring, and fair dispute resolution while maintaining compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises and oversees the Sales Team.
- Plan and implement sales activities to achieve individual and team targets.
- Review and validate quotations, pricing, and costings before client submission.
- Recommend discounts or special pricing for management approval, supported with proper computation and margin justification.
- Monitor leads, pipelines, and conversions using CRM or internal tracking tools.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, activity reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Encourage and support proactive lead generation, including field prospecting or knock-on-door visits when necessary.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations as required.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Service, Admin, and Accounting Departments for project execution, documentation, and billing follow-ups.
- Monitor, validate, and endorse team commissions and overrides, and handle commission-related inquiries or disputes prior to escalation to management.
- Coordinate with Accounting and clients to monitor payment collections and ensure proper alignment with commission eligibility.
- Ensure completeness of project documentation prior to turnover to the Service Department.
- Provide market feedback and competitor insights to management for continuous improvement of sales strategy and pricing.
- Assist in preparing sales forecasts, reports, and revenue summaries.
- Handle escalated client issues and coordinate resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing standards, and commission structures.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in B2B or project-based industries
- Experience in Government bidding is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Organized, analytical, and goal-oriented
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace; experience in CRM tools is an advantage
- Capable of handling both team leadership and hands-on client engagement
- Goal-driven, reliable, and capable of balancing fieldwork with reporting responsibilities
