Job Description

The Medical City South Luzon is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team and help build and maintain strong business relationships while driving revenue growth across our hospitals and clinics. This role focuses on account-based sales, managed care partnerships, and customer service excellence to ensure both new and existing accounts thrive.

What's the Role All About

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Drive new business

  • Identify and generate new local account opportunities.
  • Maintain and convert leads into actual business.
  • Develop programs and strategies to attract new clients.
  • Ensure timely delivery of services for new accounts.

Manage existing accounts

  • Maintain account records and oversee regular communication.
  • Upsell and cross-sell hospital products and services.
  • Monitor account performance and implement engagement programs.
  • Ensure service agreements are met for all accounts.

Optimize revenue and profitability

  • Set competitive pricing and manage discounts.
  • Control expenses for business acquisition and account management.
  • Implement initiatives to maximize account revenue.

Support enterprise initiatives and patient experience

  • Coordinate enterprise-negotiated contracts and service agreements.
  • Facilitate patient referrals within The Medical City network.
  • Supervise The Medical Concierge operations and ensure high patient satisfaction.

Who Are We Looking For

An effective Sales Specialist must possess the following skills:

  • Business Development: Ability to generate new business, manage leads, and convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Account Management: Competence in maintaining, upselling, and optimizing local accounts.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with internal teams, healthcare providers, government units, and corporate accounts.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to service level agreements and enterprise initiatives.
  • Leadership & Strategy: Drive initiatives that strengthen relationships and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Professional Growth: Commitment to learning and professional development in healthcare sales and management.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or customer service.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in sales and marketing.
