About the Role
As a Sales Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the investment funds of assigned institutional accounts. Contributes to the volume and revenue growth targets of assigned accounts through contributions made to and the trust fee earnings of assigned accounts, incremental business from existing accounts and new accounts opened

How you'll contribute
- Creates new client data and portfolios for new accounts assigned in Trust Systems Prospero, FB
- Prepares post account opening review of newly opened accounts within TAT
- Coordinates with operations and investments teams regarding application tax exemption status of assigned accounts bank counterparties for time deposit placements, BTR for government bonds, Corporate Bond issuers/PDTC for corporate bonds.
- Facilitates updating of clients KYC documents, Investment Guidelines, Client Suitability Questionnaire (CSQ), and other trust documents.
- Coordinates and requests from landholding companies copies of audited FS, GIS, and other pertinent documents to allow research team to conduct its annual revalidation of the directed investments.
- Prepares TC memos for the revalidation of employee loan lines of assigned accounts
- Prepares Fund Status and Performance on a periodic basis (monthly, quarterly, annually) and submits the same to clients within the agreed timeline
- Conducts client visits to update clients with respect to document deficiencies/updating, new regulations/policies affecting the account, investment portfolio and such other information that may be relevant to the client; likewise, to generate incremental business when opportunity should arise
- Crafts advisories to be sent out to clients pertaining to new policies, process enhancements, BIR and other regulatory agencies advisories that have a direct or indirect impact on the accounts. And other matters which direct supervisor may delegate from time to time
- Conducts joint calls or meetings with Sales and Marketing, when presenting to potential clients to manage their excess funds or manage new Trust/IMA accounts
- Recommends and sounds off investment opportunities to managed accounts which shall include but not limited to offerings of the Republic of the Phils. (e.g. RTBs, swaps, etc.), private Corporate Notes and Bonds, preferred shares, common equities and direct loans
- Provides daily cash balances for all managed accounts
- Ensures funding of trades dealt for the actively managed accounts
- Encodes/validates transactions in the Trust system of managed accounts (withdrawals/EQ & Bond trades/TD placements)s
- Ensures asset mix is within the client's investment mandate and objective
- Monitors portfolio movements to ensure compliance with agreed asset mix and taking into consideration the liquidity, timing of investments in coordination with the Investments Team and other particular requirements of the clients
- Coordinates with the Investments Team on strategic direction for fixed income and equity investments
- Arranges investment of funds and the disposition of investments on a timely basis, embarks on a buy-and-sell of securities program when warranted and coordinates with the Investments Team in the execution of the buy and/or sell activities of assigned accounts. Such buy-and-sell of securities program shall include fixed income investments and equities, as may be warranted, either by market movements or by liquidity calls of clients.
- Ensures proper bucketing of maturities in order to meet liquidity requirements or funding of prospective investments
- Ensures the timely and proper collection of fees and/or other advances, if any, from assigned accounts.
- Assists the Project Team Head and/or the Business Analyst in conducting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new Trust System or any enhancements projects in the Trust System and/or such other platform or IT programs used by Trust.
- Recommends, facilitates, and implements new process improvements
- Conducts Risk Control Self-Assessment on assigned accounts.
- Coordinates with internal and external units, when necessary, to ensure the proper administration and management of clients trust and managed accounts
- Assists the Division Head in addressing queries, taking appropriate actions and/or submitting documentary requirements in compliance with internal and external auditors in their regular conduct of audit examination of the Divisions
- Addresses any Audit, Risk or Compliance issues/queries with respect to the assigned accounts
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of work experience in related industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
- Knowledge of trust products and bank product
- Proficiency in financial and economic analyses
- Effective presentation skills
- Working proficiency in MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word and other proprietary software (i.e. Bloomberg)
- Keen attention to details, able to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders as part of the account management effort; able to manage/negotiate client requests and multi-task when necessary
