Job Description

This position is responsible for providing strategic management of the sales department to achieve the target revenue of the group. This includes planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, and fulfillment of sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Business Unit Head to craft business plans and sales strategy for the market to ensure attainment of company sales goals.
  • Responsible for the performance, cohesion, and development of the Account Managers directly reporting to this position
  • Analyzes and evaluates sales performance periodically towards the achievement of sales objectives.
  • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Regularly updates, monitors and validates SFDC entries.
  • Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Account Managers to build motivation and selling skills, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Managers sales and activity performance.
  • Provides timely feedback to Business Unit Head regarding performance.
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all opportunities.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Managers.
  • Assists Account Managers in preparation of complex proposals, tenders, and presentations.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Assists in recruitment and interviews Account Managers based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
  • Participants in marketing events such as seminars, and trade shows.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • A graduate of a Bachelor's degree
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Sales Manager, or relevant role is an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with clients
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Information Technology Technical Sales is an advantage
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Must be available during regular work hours and willing to render work beyond office hours, as needed.
  • Willing to travel nationally or overseas based on the need of duty.
