Job Description

Position Overview:

As the Agency Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our agency insurance operations. Your core mission is to establish and nurture a network of freelance insurance agents and agencies. You will be responsible for building a high-performing sales team, establishing strong relationships with insurers, and agents, and executing strategies to capture the insurance market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a sales team
  • Business Partner Management: Recruit, train, onboard, and manage relationships with business partners, agents, and existing clients for sales growth and expansion.
  • Market Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the insurance business.
  • Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, agents, and other key partners.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales metrics, performance indicators, and market trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our insurance products and services and ensure the sales team is well-equipped to promote them.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to the senior management team.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field;
  • Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in insurance sales, agency management, or a related domain.
  • Industry Network: A strong network and established relationships within the insurance industry are highly desirable.
  • Leadership Proficiency: Exceptional leadership abilities and adeptness at managing teams are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal aptitude are vital for this role.
  • Strategic Agility: The capability to develop and execute strategic plans is a critical competence.
  • Insurance Insight: Knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations is a significant advantage.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is preferred.
