Job Purpose

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, mentoring, and driving a high-performing sales team to achieve enterprise growth targets. You will be the strategic architect of the sales process, overseeing the pursuit of leading local and multinational companies in the Philippines. Your goal is to scale the company's footprint by empowering your team to position our brand as the definitive category leader in workforce financial wellness.

Requirements

  • Strategic Leadership & Performance Management
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to hit and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Manage, coach, and motivate a team of Account Executives to ensure high performance and career growth
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and forecast meetings to ensure accuracy in the sales funnel
  • Maintain individual targets and manage the pipeline effectively.
  • High-Stakes Engagement & Closing Support
  • Act as an executive sponsor for major deals, assisting the team in navigating complex negotiations with HR VPs, CFOs, and C-level executives
  • Refine the team's ability to articulate the company's value proposition, ensuring a consistent and sophisticated message across all client touchpoints
  • Step in to lead high-value negotiations and ensure the successful closing of strategic accounts
  • Operational Excellence & Market Strategy
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine our Go-to-Market approach
  • Optimize the sales process (from lead generation to contract signing) to improve conversion rates and shorten the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless handoff and long-term client retention
  • Team Development & Standards
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales talent, fostering a culture of high grit, resilience, and curiosity
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales activities (e.g., call volumes, meeting quotas, and pipeline health)
  • Uphold the highest standards of service quality, ethics, and compliance across the entire sales unit

Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: At least 5+ years of experience in B2B/Enterprise sales, with a documented history of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Leadership Experience: Experience managing or mentoring a sales team is highly preferred; must demonstrate the ability to coach different personality types
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence modern multinational leaders and traditional local executives alike
  • Resilience & Grit: A hands-on leader who isn't afraid to pick up the phone and lead by example when the team faces challenges
  • Data-Driven: Proficient in CRM management (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and using data to drive decision-making

Preferred But Not Mandatory

  • Experience in SaaS, HR Tech, or Financial Wellness tools
  • Specific expertise in the payroll solutions or fintech ecosystem
  • A strong existing network of HR and Finance leaders in the Philippines
