Job Description

As a Channel Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through channels including distributors, resellers, and other channel partners. Your primary objective will be to develop and maintain strategic relationships with channel partners to maximise revenue opportunities and expand market reach.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities.
  • Provide ongoing support, training, and resources to enable partners to promote and sell company products and services effectively.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand the company's sales network. Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product management, and technical team to develop sales enablement tools, resources, and programs for channel partners.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast accurately to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Track channel partner's performance, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the channel.
  • Negotiate agreements, contracts, and pricing terms with channel partners to ensure mutual benefit and alignment with company objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the channel sales ecosystem.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, including sales revenue, partner profitability, and market share.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate channel sales performance and trends to senior management.
  • Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the Sales Manager - Channel or the COO/CEO.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational Attainment and years of experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in channel sales, business development, or partner management roles, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Technical skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, ERP, and CRM applications.

Soft skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Work set-up:

  • WFO (M-F)
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend company/industry events.
