Atlan Stormwater is a leading supplier and installer of stormwater management and treatment systems across Australia. We provide tailored design, manufacturing, and installation solutions to councils, developers, and industrial clients nationwide.
We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Estimator to join our growing team. This role supports both businesses, preparing accurate quotes, liaising with clients and internal teams, and ensuring smooth handover from sales to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quotations and cost estimates for stormwater and industrial projects.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify requirements and scope.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to clarify technical details and pricing.
- Manage the quoting pipeline and follow up with clients to convert opportunities into sales.
- Assist the Sales teams in developing cost-effective design alternatives.
- Ensure quotes are accurate, timely, and aligned with company pricing policies.
- Support Business Development Managers with technical submissions, proposals, and tender responses.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge for Atlan product lines.
Skills & Experience
- Background in estimating, sales support, or technical quoting (civil, construction preferred).
- Strong ability to interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM or quoting systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates at once.
- A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and contribute.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in stormwater treatment infrastructures.
