Responsibilities
The position of
Sales Engineer consists of selling equipment, consumables, accessories and other products of the company to industrial customers, by combining technical know-how with selling skills to develop the market for the companys range of advanced welding and cutting solutions and related products, with the following main duties and responsibilities:
Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, market research, networking and partner relationships
Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about the company products and solutions
Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation and closing the sale
Build and develop growing relationships with our customers
Meet regular sales targets and goals
Implement sales plans and strategies
Prepare reports, surveys, forecasts and projections Provide technical assistance and after-sales support assistance
Prepare and send quotations or proposals
Conduct and facilitate the demonstration or testing of equipment or products
Assist in the installation and commissioning and the training of customers on the use of the products
Liaise and assist with warehouse, delivery, credit & collection, service and other departments, when necessary, to resolve any related issues with customer
- Graduate of either Business Management or Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering is a plus
- Preferably with experience in sales and/or welding technology due to the nature of our products
- Can work under pressure and minimal supervision
- Dynamic, outgoing, resourceful, self-motivated, creative and a team player
- With excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Has valid drivers license (Restriction 1 or 2)
