POSITION: SALES ENGINEER
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The role involves combining technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on products and services. The Sales Engineer will work closely with clients to understand their needs, present suitable solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through client prospecting and networking
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions
- Conduct site visits and client meetings to assess project requirements
- Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and quotations
- Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure proper execution of projects
- Maintain strong relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Ensure timely submission of reports, documentation, and sales updates
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in engineering, construction, or technical products
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to clients
- Proficient in MS Office and basic technical software
- Willing to travel for client meetings and site visits
