Job Title: Sales Director – Philippines & Emerging Markets (Solar Components)

Briefing:
We are looking for a Sales Director to lead and expand our business in the Philippine market and other emerging markets in the APAC region. This role will focus on driving the growth of solar component sales by developing long-term relationships with key EPC, C&I also the strategic clients, particularly those in the Philippine market.
Responsibilities:
- Developing the Philippines Project Market: Focus on expanding sales in the Philippine market, particularly targeting major developers.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the unique characteristics of the Philippine market, meeting sales targets related to volume, market share, promotion, and profit margins.
- Client Development & Maintenance: Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide feedback to internal teams to optimize product offerings. Monitor orders and contracts to ensure sales goals are met.
- Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams (sales, marketing, technical) to ensure the success of sales activities. Collaborate with local and domestic teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs, promote the company’s products, and secure new business.
- Sales Data Analysis: Collect and analyze sales data, providing relevant reports. Assess performance, identify gaps, and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and sales outcomes.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research into international markets, understanding market demands, and competitive dynamics. Use insights to inform company marketing strategies for emerging markets.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions. Work with market and technical teams to organize webinars, seminars, training sessions, and other customer-focused activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with at least 5 years of experience in the solar industry, including a successful track record in developing utility accounts.
- At least 2 years of experience in solar component sales in the Philippine market.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a driven and outgoing personality.
- Excellent negotiation, listening, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English (both oral and written); proficiency in local languages is a plus.
- Highly motivated, responsible, and able to work well under pressure.
- Willingness to travel frequently (over 50% of the time).
