Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outbound Lead Generation Specialist to join our team in Manila, Philippines. This specialist will be dedicated to generating qualified sales leads for the Zoom suite of products—specifically Zoom Events, Zoom Sessions, and Zoom Webinars—within the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) markets.

This role requires an individual with proven experience in creating and executing effective outbound strategies, possessing a high level of autonomy, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the VMG Connect and Zoom sales teams to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities:

●Develop and execute strategic outbound lead generation campaigns targeting potential clients in the ANZ market interested in Zoom Events, Zoom Sessions, and Zoom Webinars.

●Identify, research, and qualify new sales opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email, and social media outreach.

●Clearly articulate the value proposition of the target Zoom products to prospects.

●Generate qualified sales leads and manage the handoff process to the VMG Connect and/or Zoom sales teams for product demonstrations and sales closure.

●Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead generation activities in the VMG CRM system.

●Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.

● Work according to Australian business hours to effectively engage the target market.

To excel in this role, the candidate should possess the following skills and attributes typical for a lead generation professional working with a large global tech brand like Zoom:

Professional Experience and Competencies:

● Proven Lead Generation Experience: Demonstrated success in an outbound lead generation or Business Development Representative (BDR) role, preferably targeting B2B clients in the technology sector.

● Territory Knowledge: Familiarity with the Australian and New Zealand business landscapes, market trends, and cultural nuances.

● Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly understand and effectively communicate the features and benefits of complex software products, specifically in the Virtual Events and Video Conferencing space.

● Strategic Planning: Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and execute lead generation strategies and daily activities.

● CRM Proficiency: Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.

Communication and Soft Skills

● English Language Fluency: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, required for professional engagement with ANZ clients.

● High Autonomy and Initiative: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and proactively identify new opportunities.

● Resilience and Persistence: A strong, tenacious mindset necessary for effective cold outreach and overcoming objections.

● Client Focus: A professional and consultative approach when engaging with prospects.
