Role Overview
We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in the Philippines to support outbound prospecting focused on US-based companies.
This role is responsible for identifying qualified prospects, initiating thoughtful outbound outreach, and booking qualified meetings for the Head of US Sales.
This is not a high-volume, spam-based SDR role. Quality, research, and professionalism matter.
This position reports to the Head of US Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting and Research
- Identify US-based prospects that fit Hytel's ideal customer profiles:
- Founders, CEO's and CTOs at early to growth-stage companies
- Heads of Engineering or Product
- PE-backed portfolio companies
- Research companies to understand basic context such as stage, product, and recent activity
- Build and maintain targeted prospect lists (via outbound sales platform and CRM)
Outbound Outreach
- Execute outbound email and LinkedIn outreach using approved messaging
- Light personalization based on company context
- Follow structured outreach sequences consistently
- Track (and report on) outreach activity and responses accurately
Meeting Qualification and Scheduling
- Engage prospects who respond and qualify basic fit
- Schedule qualified meetings directly on the Head of US Sales calendar
- Ensure meetings are properly prepared with notes and context
CRM and Process
- Maintain accurate records in outbound sales platform and CRM (Zoho)
- Track responses, meetings booked, and follow-ups
- Provide weekly activity and results summaries
What This Role Is Not
- Not cold calling all day
- Not mass email blasting
- Not closing deals
- Not improvising sales pitches
- This role is about initiating high-quality conversations with the right prospects.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an SDR, BDR, or appointment setter
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Able to follow messaging and process consistently
- Comfortable working with US-based prospects and time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling B2B services or SaaS
- Familiarity with founders, startups, or tech companies
- Experience using CRM tools and outbound sales platforms
- Experience booking meetings for US-based sales leaders
Compensation
- Salary: approximately $400 USD per month
- Fully remote
- Performance-based incentives may be added over time based on results
