Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the B2B fintech space. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in enterprise sales within the financial services sector, with a strong ability to build relationships, drive revenue growth, and deliver tailored solutions to banks, multi-finance companies, and large enterprises.
This role requires a hunter mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, manage complex sales cycles, and influence decision-making at senior and C-levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business development across banks, multi-finance institutions, insurers, and enterprise clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, pitching, negotiation, to deal closure.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets and sales KPIs.
Account & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring alignment of fintech solutions with their business challenges.
- Work with Product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
Market & Business Intelligence
- Research and identify new market opportunities, client pain points, and industry trends.
- Map accounts, build target prospect lists, and develop account penetration strategies.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to influence product development and go-to-market strategies.
Collaboration & Sales Enablement
- Partner with marketing to design ABM (Account based marketing) campaigns, events, and lead-generation initiatives.
- Collaborate with product, risk, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and client needs.
- Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and enterprise-grade presentations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 58 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, preferably within fintech, SaaS, banking technology, or financial services solutions.
- Strong track record in closing large, complex deals with banks or financial institutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with C-level stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial services workflows: lending, payments, KYC/AML, digital banking, or open finance APIs.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Existing networks in the financial services sector are highly desirable.
