Job Title: Sales Associate

Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Sales & Business Development Manager

Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting the company's sales and business development activities by generating leads, managing client relationships, preparing proposals, and assisting in closing sales opportunities. This role plays a key part in achieving revenue targets and expanding the company's customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Acquisition
Identify and generate new sales leads through calls, emails, site visits, and online platforms
Conduct initial client outreach and product/service presentations
Assist in negotiating terms and closing sales under the guidance of the Sales & Business Development Manager
Achieve individual and team sales targets

Account Management
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
Respond to client inquiries, quotations, and follow-ups in a timely manner
Ensure customer satisfaction and assist in resolving concerns or issues
Sales Support & Coordination
Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and basic contracts
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and client data
Reporting & Market Support
Submit regular sales activity and performance reports
Gather market and competitor information to support business development strategies
Assist in sales campaigns, promotions, and other growth initiatives

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field (preferred)
At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic negotiation and presentation skills
Willingness to learn sales processes and industry knowledge
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM experience is a plus

Good organization and time management
Confidence in dealing with clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Coachable and open to feedback

Working Relationship
The Sales Associate will work closely with and report directly to the Sales & Business Development Manager, receiving guidance, performance feedback, and sales targets. This role is intended to support the manager in executing sales strategies and growing the company's revenue.

Career Growth
High-performing Sales Associates may be considered for promotion to Senior Sales Associate, Sales Executive, or Business Development roles, based on performance and company needs.
