Role Description
As a Sales Associate Intern, the trainee supports the Sales Division by assisting in lead generation, client outreach, product presentation, and sales coordination. The role provides hands-on experience in customer relationship management, prospecting, sales negotiation, and performance reporting. It is ideal for students aiming to strengthen their sales communication, persuasive abilities, and market analysis skills in a fast-paced tech-driven environment.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Outreach
- Identify and qualify potential leads through online research and prospect lists.
- Reach out to potential clients via email, calls, and social platforms.
- Introduce company products and schedule meetings or sales presentations.
- Maintain a positive and professional first-contact experience for prospects.
Client Relationship Management
- Assist in building and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients.
- Maintain accurate and updated client information in CRM tools.
- Follow up with leads to ensure continued engagement and interest.
- Support account managers in client communications and documentation.
Sales Presentation Support
- Assist in preparing product decks, proposals, and sales demonstration materials.
- Support product orientations and demo sessions conducted by the Sales Team.
- Help address initial customer inquiries and relay concerns to the team.
Market Research & Sales Reporting
- Conduct basic market studies to identify trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Generate weekly and monthly sales reports summarizing activities and progress.
- Assist in tracking performance against quotas and sales targets.
- Present insights that may help improve sales strategies and client approaches.
