Expressions Stationery Shop Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing a positive shopping experience through excellent service and product knowledge. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a positive customer experience from store entry to purchase by using appropriate sales spiels, answering queries, and assisting with merchandise selection.
- Clearly communicate product features, services, procedures (such as returns or replacements), and promotional offers to customers.
- Address and escalate customer complaints for timely resolution.
- Maintain clean, organized merchandise displays, updated price tags, and functioning store fixtures.
- Request timely stock replenishment using Stock Requisition Slips and prevent merchandise loss through regular inventory activities.
- Support developmental assignments such as cashiering, merchandise receiving and pull-outs, stockroom organization, and documentation.
- Comply with company health and safety protocols to protect employees and customers.
Qualifications
- Education: At least Senior High School graduate with 1 year of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 06 months of experience in retail or sales.
- Experience in the retail industry is preferred.
- Strong communication, selling, and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of merchandising and stockroom procedures.
