Position: Sales and Distribution Head-Bancassurance

Office Location: UB Square, Quezon City

Job Summary: The Sales and Distribution Head-Bancassurance is responsible for the overall insurance sales performance of all channels of the bank, driving target achievement, RM activation, product penetration, and sustainable growth while ensuring compliance with brokerage and regulatory standards. The BSDH directly manages the acquisition and retention of insurance business across Bancassurance channels, while leading a team of Insurance Solutions Managers in the Brokerage. The BSDH is the lead POC of Insurance Partners to liaise on day to day and strategic actions for business growth.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Engages Insurance specialists (ISC) to activate partner Relationship Managers and service ambassadors across network, for the identification of prospective insurance clients. The ISC or ISMs conducts financial planning interviews, prepares product presentations, and closes the sale to high net worth individual.
  • Directs the entire sales activities of the channel and he/she delivers agreed business activity levels and business performance.
  • Manages relationships among the senior level officers of the Bank, Brokerage and Insurance partners.
  • Develops sales management skills and professional knowledge of direct reports through regular assessments, coaching, training and adherence to the defines sales management processes.
  • Participates during planning and business forecasting sessions with senior management.
  • Liaises with the Insurance partners to ensure implementation of programs and campaigns to support the channel.
  • Directs the manpower planning of the channel
  • Analyzes, prepares adhoc reports and presents findings to senior management during performance reviews.
  • Ensures that sales processes are executed in accordance with laws and company policies stated in MCG (Market Conduct Guidelines), guided by Bank and Insurance Partner (Insular Life), and General insurance procedures.
  • Monitors market development and economic trends within industry, and how these impact clients portfolio. Provides marketing feedback on products.
  • Ensures efficient expense and manpower management
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Sales Distribution Head, such as execution of client events, etc.
