About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Sales & Business Development Manager who will drive our growth through strong lead generation, impactful client engagements, and performance-driven leadership. This role plays a crucial part in increasing pilot trainee enrollments, establishing high-value partnerships, and expanding our presence in both local and international markets.
Reports to: Sales, Marketing, Admissions and Customer Care (SMACC) Lead, and Accountable Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Market Expansion: Identify, explore, and pursue new markets, client segments, and partnership opportunities to expand the organization's reach and increase program or product adoption.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet monthly and annual enrollment, revenue, and pipeline targets. Monitor market trends and identify areas for competitive positioning.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Establish and manage lead generation initiatives using diverse channels such as industry networks, institutions, events, referrals, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Client Engagement & Presentations: Deliver tailored B2B presentations that demonstrate the company's value proposition, address client needs, and create opportunities for long-term collaborations.
- Pipeline Management & Reporting: Maintain a robust sales pipeline with qualified leads and prospects. Provide accurate and timely reports on sales progress, forecasts, and key performance insights.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and deepen relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to support business growth, enhance retention, and drive sustainable revenue generation.
- Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead contract negotiations, prepare proposals, and finalize agreements that support both client satisfaction and organizational objectives.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Provide guidance, supervision, and performance oversight to sales teams or partner representatives. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support sales-driven projects, events, and initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Track key sales metrics, analyze data, and recommend strategies to optimize conversion rates, market penetration, and overall business development effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management.
- Strong background in B2B selling, client presentations, and negotiations.
- Experience in aviation or education/training industry is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Results-oriented, resourceful, and highly driven.
