Safety Officer III

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Safety Officer III role. The Safety Officer III will oversee and implement health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, leading safety training sessions, investigating accidents to determine root causes, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Collaboration with teams to enforce safety protocols and promote a secure workplace culture is also key to this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety, including the ability to create and enforce safety measures
• Expertise in Occupational Health and Safety, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Experience in Accident Investigation and Security measures to ensure hazard prevention and response
• Capability to design, conduct, and evaluate effective Safety Training programs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills for training, reporting, and team collaboration
• Previous experience in construction or infrastructure projects is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree or certifications in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
