Key Responsibilities:
OSH Program Management: Oversee the overall implementation and management of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Program in close coordination with the OSH Committee.
Health and Safety Monitoring: Monitor and inspect all health and safety aspects of ongoing operations, with active participation of supervisors and workers.
Workplace Safety Inspections: Conduct monthly workplace safety inspections and assessments at assigned work sites to ensure compliance with OSH standards.
Hazard and Risk Assessment: Perform monthly hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) and ensure the implementation and enforcement of appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
Risk Evaluation and Compliance: Evaluate work site practices, procedures, equipment, and facilities to identify potential safety and health risks and recommend improvements.
Regulatory Inspection Support: Accompany government inspectors during safety and health inspections or accident investigations, and provide required OSH reports, documents, and relevant information in compliance with OSH standards.
Work Stoppage Authority: Issue Work Stoppage Orders (WSO) when necessary, in accordance with OSH standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Safety Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect safety equipment and ensure all are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Safety Training and Awareness: Conduct monthly safety awareness talks for office-based and site-based employees, and facilitate OSH orientation for new hires.
Emergency Response Capability Building: Oversee and support training and capability-building activities of the Fire Suppression Team and Emergency Medical Response Team.
Food Safety Coordination: Immediately inform the Immediate Superior and/or Food Safety Team of any concerns related to the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
Other Duties and Responsibilities: Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Incident Reporting: Able to gather relevant information and prepare accurate incident reports.
HSS Data Analysis: Able to apply basic statistics in presenting Health, Safety, and Security (HSS) status reports.
OSH & HSS Standards: Advanced knowledge of Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and other HSS standards.
Equipment & Hazard Awareness: Basic knowledge of machinery, equipment, and associated hazard levels.
Safety Systems & Firefighting Equipment: Knowledgeable in Safety Systems (SS) standards and in inspecting and checking firefighting equipment.
