What You'll Do:
- Lead the development of a strong safety culture by consistently modeling compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Serve as the plant's safety champion, building safety awareness, ownership, and a proactive mindset among all employees.
- Encourage open communication on safety concerns, share best practices, and lead comprehensive reviews of accidents, incidents, and near‑misses to determine root causes and corrective actions.
- Develop, update, and implement safe work practices and procedures in coordination with plant teams.
- Drive plant‑wide safety initiatives, including training, awareness campaigns, motivation programs, and continuous communication.
- Prepare and submit all required safety reports to relevant government agencies in a timely and compliant manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience as a Safety Manager in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant setting.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or local safety practitioner licenses are an advantage.
