ROLE SUMMARY:
The Safety, Health, and Environment Business Partner (SHE BP) Manager (Mindanao) position is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of health and safety programs, processes and procedures in the workplace.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as the Safety Officer of the company in compliance with the mandated health and safety standards.
- Ensures compliance with mandated health, and safety rules and regulations.
- Reviews and audits the conduct of regular and thorough safety audits of the workplace, inclusive of the inspection of structures, facilities and fittings; machinery and equipment and review of work practices and work processes , to ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and standards.
- Reviews recommendations for corrective measures to address health and safety issues. Ensures the implementation of the corrective measures.
- Audits effectiveness of the training programs to ensure that safety trainings conducted by service providers are sufficient and effective.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Safety Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in a power plant or heavy industry as Safety Engineer
- Registered Engineer and/or Accredited Safety Officer (from DOLE)
