A Bachelor's degree in a Safety or Technical Engineering field of study
At least 3-5 years of working experience in the same field.
Acquire knowledge of health and safety engineering technology and principles
Possess excellent computer skills as well as technical communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team within the workplace
Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing and administering all aspects of accident prevention, security, fire protection and control, motor fleet accident prevention, and the control of equipment and property damage.
Conduct investigation, analyze, and formulate recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct safety meetings with the Junior Safety and other subcontractors safety meeting focused on the problem encountered and carry out the corrective action needed for the smooth implementation by operation people.
Conducts daily safety inspections in all work areas under his area of responsibility.
Prepare safety topics for one month and assign speakers to conduct the same from the operation group.
Lead the daily morning activity and ensure everyone participates, impose discipline among workers and staff alike that do not cooperate in the said activity.
Keep up to date with recommended codes of practice and safety literature and circulate information applicable to each level of employee.
Determine the required minimum Personal Protective Equipment applicable to the project and ensure its proper use at all times.
