Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Cabuyao, Laguna for a Rum Maturation (Ageing) Unit Head. The role involves overseeing the rum maturation process, monitoring quality standards, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include planning and supervising aging operations (barrel receiving, refilling, maturation, and harvesting), maintaining records, collaborating with production teams, and implementing process improvements to achieve consistent product quality. The Rum Maturation Unit Head will also play a key role in team oversight and training.
Qualifications
- Experience with production processes, particularly in rum maturation, aging, or related areas
- Knowledge of quality assurance measures and compliance with industry standards/regulations
- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
- Analytical skills for monitoring and improving processes
- Proficiency in record management and inventory tracking systems
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams
- Degree in Chemistry or Food Science, Engineering (Chemical or Industrial), or related fields (preferred)
- Previous experience in a distillery or beverage manufacturing setting is an advantage
