Must have obtained a Basic Course on Occupational Medicine is preferred;
Must be willing to work 8 hours a day, Monday - Saturday;
Must be willing to work/be assigned at the project site;
Experience in a Corporate and in a Construction, setting is preferred
With Basic Course on Occupational Medicine Certificate
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize, administer, maintain and manage an occupational health service program integrating therein an occupational safety program at site/project assignment;
Provide outpatient consultation to all employees of EEI seeking medical advice, demonstrating acceptable bedside manner and customer orientation;
Render prompt treatment of illnesses/injuries both work-related/non-work-related, not requiring hospital emergency room cares. Refer employees to qualified medical specialists in the community when appropriate. Properly refer any medical/emergency case to a higher healthcare facility;
Provide regular reports on the illness's incidence and prevalence and health status of the Site/Project;
Participate and lead in implementing appropriate healthcare programs for the employees. Prepare and present summaries of aggregate health data at appropriate health, safety, and business meetings;
Conduct and present health updates, awareness, counseling, and education on how to detect, manage and prevent medical illness and conditions;
Check and ensure that all medical devices, tools and equipment's which are required to perform their duty are in order and to report immediately once there is an identified issue/s;
Continually study and monitor the work environment for health hazards through periodic health assessment/inspection of the workplace;
Prevent diseases or injury in the workplace by establishing proper medical supervision over substances used processes, and work environment;
Maintain and analyze records of all medical cases and to prepare and submit to the employer all reportorial requirement stipulated on the Occupational Safety and Health Standards, relevant National and Local Government Unit;
Act as adviser to management and labor on all health matters;
And report directly to the Medical Director at HQ and to the PM/AM of the site/project assignment in order to be effective.
