Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the property, ensuring a pleasant and sanitary environment for guests and staff altogether. The Housekeeping Attendant will perform a variety of cleaning duties, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of areas assigned.
Attends shift briefings.
Clean and tidy all assigned areas within the establishment, including guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
Vacuum carpets and rugs, ensuring they are free of debris and stains.
Mop floors in accordance with established safety and cleanliness standards.
Change bed linens and towels as required.
Replenish amenities such as toiletries and cleaning supplies.
Dispose of trash and recyclables in a sanitary manner.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to appropriate personnel.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
Assist guests with inquiries or requests as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Follows established Code of Conduct.
Adheres to policies e.g. Lost & Found.
Keep fire exits and stair ways clear of any obstruction
Qualification
College Graduate or level.
Previous vocational trainings in Housekeeping e.g. NC II is an advantage.
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred but not required.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and materials.
Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Friendly and professional demeanor with good communication skills.
