Role Overview
Be part of something new. Support risk. Drive resilience.
We're on the lookout for a Risk Analyst to join our fast-growing fintech team. This is a new role designed to strengthen our second line of defense and support the build-out of an enterprise-wide risk management framework.
You'll work closely with the Risk function and business stakeholders to help identify, assess, and monitor risks across the business. This is a hands-on role where you'll maintain risk registers and dashboards, track incidents, support fraud and scam prevention efforts, and help the business understand and manage its risks.
It's a great opportunity for someone early in their risk career to gain exposure across a broad range of risk areas in a regulated fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operational delivery and implementation of risk frameworks, policies, and procedures, ensuring they are effectively integrated into business processes.
- Maintain and update risk registers, KRIs, and incident logs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Actively support business teams by fostering strong engagement between the risk function and the broader organisation, helping to build risk awareness and practical risk ownership.
- Assist in preparing regular risk reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Support risk assessments for new products, processes, vendors, and operational changes.
- Assist in fraud and scam risk monitoring activities and escalate potential issues in line with internal procedures.
- Coordinate with teams across compliance, finance, product, and technology to collect, validate, and analyse risk-related information.

Desired:
- Exposure to AML/CTF risk and familiarity with AUSTRAC or ASIC regulatory environments, from a risk or operational perspective.
- Familiarity with risk tools (e.g., GRC systems, dashboards, monitoring platforms).
- Experience working in a scaling or fast-paced fintech environment.
