Work Arrangement: WAH Set-up and Night Shift Schedule
Revenue ManagerThis role is for a seasoned Revenue Management professional responsible for maximizing revenue across multiple hotel properties through strategic pricing, distribution channel management, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities (The Brass Tacks)- Revenue Maximization & Strategy: Drive revenue by providing hands-on revenue management for new/transitioning properties and offering strategic recommendations to others.
- Analysis & Forecasting: Conduct daily/weekly monitoring and analysis of competition, pace, and channel reports (e.g., STR Report, shop reports) to identify market trends.
- Pricing & Inventory: Analyze short and long-term forecasts to recommend tactical inventory and pricing adjustments to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Distribution Channel Management: Maximize room revenue from all distribution channels (OTAs, GDS, property websites) and perform audits on systems (PMS, CRS, Synxis, OTA Insight) to ensure content accuracy.
- Group & Sales Coordination: Review group pick-up reports and collaborate with the Sales department to balance the needs of transient and group sales.
- Training & Leadership: Train property staff on revenue reports and systems, and lead property-level revenue management meetings.
- System Maintenance: Coordinate revenue management system access and ensure continuity of revenue efforts by handling day-to-day operations when necessary.
Mandatory Requirements (The Nitty Gritty)- Experience:56 years previous experience in dedicated revenue management.
- Hotel Systems Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), Central Reservation Systems (CRS), and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Functional Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping operations, and accounting procedures.
- Financial Skills: Financial management skills, including budget management, expense control, and P&L analysis.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication (written and verbal), people management (coaching, motivating), and advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
