Position Summary
The Retail Sales Head is responsible for leading and driving the overall performance of BPI MS's retail distribution business, encompassing both Bancassurance and Agency channels. This role sets the strategic direction, growth agenda, and execution priorities to deliver sustainable increases in new business, customer penetration, and profitability—anchored on a digital-first, customer-obsessed approach that puts customer needs and long-term relationships at the center of every decision.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Retail Sales Head oversees a multi-layered sales organization across the country, driving productivity, capability building, and a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, data-driven decision-making, and superior customer experience.
The role is accountable for maximizing the value of the bancassurance partnership with Bank of the Philippine Islands, including deepening integration with retail banking segments, enhancing frontline activation, and delivering seamless, needs-based insurance solutions across physical and digital channels.
Concurrently, the role leads the development and transformation of the Agency business by strengthening recruitment, elevating advisor productivity, and improving retention and professionalism – ensuring that advisors act as trusted partners to customers and consistently deliver suitable, high-quality advice. The Retail Sales Head ensures that both channels operate with strong discipline in sales management, digital enablement, and adherence to compliance and customer protection standards set by the Insurance Commission Philippines.
Ultimately, this role is accountable for delivering balanced growth across channels while building a resilient, scalable, and customer-centric distribution franchise that positions BPI MS as a trusted partner in helping Filipinos achieve financial security and peace of mind.
