Essential Functions
The Retail Officer under the Operations Department is responsible for supporting daily retail and e-commerce operations, ensuring smooth workflows, accurate inventory management, excellent customer service, and compliance with company standards.
- Sales Transaction
- Opening cashier activities: Checking of initial change funds.
- Ensuring that the cashier's fund is always available in terms of denomination: coins and bills for smooth transactions.
- Guide customers through the payment procedure by taking payment methods (cash, cards, and/or GCash, etc) for processing in exchange for sold items.
- Follow guidelines in special transactions such as Senior Citizen Discounts, PWD, etc. Ask permission for special discounts.
- Process wholesale and charge transactions in POS, document, and properly file them accordingly.
- Coordinated wholesale and charge transactions to account for the monitoring of payments.
- Report refunds and exchanges to the concerned department with related documents.
- At the end of the shift, always ensure to check settlement of the bank terminals
- Balance Cash Registers at the end of the shift and make sure there is sufficient change available for the next shift.
- Checking the bank terminals status every day; ensuring the battery is full, and if a defect arises, report immediately to the retail senior officer.
- Performs other related functions necessary to ensure contained smooth operations of the business
- Accountable for Monitoring, Replenishment, and Recording of usage of the Back-up Change Fund.
- Cashiering and Endorsement of Sales to Accounting.
- Merchandising & Inventory
Monitor product expiry and report discrepancies immediately to the Senior Retail Officer.
Monitors product movement (loss and sold items). Ensure that any discrepancies are communicated to the senior immediately.
Participate in monthly inventory counts.
Receive deliveries, check against purchase order and delivery receipts nd endorse to senior retail officer and/or operations manager.
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and proper product phasing.
- Online Channels / E-Commerce
Monitor online product inventory and update listings.
Follow standard packing and labeling procedures (including photos, bubble wrap, fragile/perishable markings).
Ensuring to check the airwaybill handed by the courier is match on the airwaybill of the parcel before releasing the parcel.
Ensure to sign the courier who will pick up the parcel in our Parcel monitoring logbook for our reference
Ensure timely order fulfillment and monitor shipments.
Perform daily product boosting and maintain consistency between physical and online inventory.
Handle customer inquiries for online platforms.
- Customer Relations
- Serve as first point of contact for walk-in and online customers.
- Assist customers with purchases, payments, and product information.
- Document customer profiles, purchasing habits, and feedback.
- Resolve complaints or escalate as needed.
- Promote store products and ongoing promotions.
- Uphold company service standards and foster positive shopping experiences.
- Bottle Distribution
- Assist in receiving supplement deliveries, record on monitoring sheets, and forward to Accounting.
- Verify quantity, expiration date, and lot number against transmittal reports.
- Coordinate supplement deliveries to clients
- Create purchase order of supplements and submit to Atrium.
- Create receiving reports and submit to Accounting.
- Administrative
- Prepare reports and updates for the Senior Retail Officer.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and company rules.
- Request purchase orders for retail supplies.
- File and organize invoices, delivery receipts, and operational records.
- Schedule deliveries, maintenance, and other operational tasks.
- Provide administrative support to Operations Manager and Senior Retail Officer.

Education
Retail/pharmacy operations or in similar role. : 1 year (Preferred)
