Role Overview:
The Store Supervisor oversees daily caf and bakery operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for food preparation oversight, staff management, store operations, and reporting. The Supervisor works closely with the team on the floor and ensures standards are followed at all times.
Core Responsibilities:
Supervise daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
Oversee food preparation of baked goods and ensure recipes and portions are followed
Supervise and assist with pastry decorating and finishing
Manage food display, merchandising, and freshness standards
Plan and ensure backup preparation and production for the following day
Create and submit purchase orders (POs) for ingredients and supplies
Ensure FIFO, labeling, and proper food storage practices
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf, kitchen, and storage areas
Monitor product availability and minimize waste
People & Operations Management:
Schedule staff shifts and manage daily manpower needs
Lead opening and closing shifts
Close the store, reconcile cash, and prepare end-of-day sales reports
Mentor, coach, and manage baristas and bakery staff
Train staff on service standards, food handling, and store procedures
Handle basic staff concerns and escalate issues when needed
Resolve internal team issues and customer concerns professionally
Ensure smooth service during peak hours
Quality, Reporting & Management Coordination:
Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency throughout the day
Check displays and replace items as needed
Report equipment issues, stock concerns, or quality problems
Submit daily and weekly operational reports
Communicate sales performance, issues, and improvement opportunities to management

Requirements:
Supervisor experience in a bakery, caf, or restaurant
Background in food preparation or bakery operations is an advantage
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to work weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules
Willing to be assigned in Glorietta or BGC.
