Job Description

Company Description

BOF, Inc., a leading rural bank established in 1964, specializes in offering financial products and services designed to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Central Luzon. Embedded in the cultural richness of Pampanga, BOF takes pride in fostering countryside development through a personalized approach that prioritizes the unique needs of its clients. Its commitment to preserving local heritage and empowering communities sets it apart from competitors. With a deep-rooted understanding of its clients goals, BOF plays a vital role in driving sustainable growth for the Filipino nation.

BOF, Inc. is looking for a strategic and results-driven Remedial Management Department Head to lead the Bank's recovery and asset management functions. This role is for a leader who can balance firm decision-making with sound judgment—driving recovery performance while safeguarding the Bank's financial position.

You will play a critical role in managing distressed assets, overseeing legal and foreclosure processes, and maximizing recoveries through effective restructuring, negotiation, and asset disposal strategies.

What You'll Own

  • End-to-end oversight of the Bank's remedial portfolio, including Loans in Litigation (LL), ROPA, and past due accounts
  • Execution of recovery strategies across restructuring, settlement, foreclosure, and legal action
  • Leadership and direction of Remedial Specialists in account resolution, consolidation, and asset disposal
  • Review and endorsement of remedial proposals (ROPA transactions, Dacion En Pago, restructures, and settlements)
  • Presentation of key recommendations to the Credit Committee for approval
  • Monitoring of portfolio health, including past due ratios, recovery performance, and ROPA income targets
  • Oversight of foreclosure proceedings, auctions, and legal coordination for delinquent accounts
  • Management of ROPA lifecycle—from acquisition and maintenance to valuation and sale
  • Negotiation with borrowers and buyers to maximize recovery and ensure viable deal structures
  • Evaluation of buyer financial capacity, particularly for installment-based arrangements
  • Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance of contracts and credit documentation
  • Quality control of Borrower Credit Files (BCF), ROPA records, and Sales Contract Receivables (SCR)
  • Coordination with appraisers and oversight of property valuation and pricing (SP and RP)
  • Supervision of team performance, including collection effectiveness and case resolution timelines
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly portfolio and performance reports for senior management

Who You Are

  • A decisive leader with strong experience in remedial management, credit, or collections within banking or financial services
  • Strategic and analytical, with the ability to manage complex, high-value distressed accounts
  • Skilled in negotiation, restructuring, and legal coordination
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong grasp of credit processes, documentation, and risk mitigation
  • Highly organized, accountable, and able to lead teams through challenging recovery situations
  • Knowledgeable in foreclosure, asset disposal, and regulatory compliance

Why this Role Stands Out

  • Lead a high-impact function that directly drives recovery and portfolio quality
  • Opportunity to shape and strengthen the Bank's remedial management strategy
  • Work on complex, high-value accounts requiring strategic and decisive action
  • Be part of a mission-driven rural bank supporting MSME growth in Central Luzon
  • Play a key leadership role in protecting and enhancing the Bank's financial stability
