The Medical City Clinic is looking for a licensed and detail-oriented Medical Technologist in Waltwemart Sta. Maria (Bulacan). The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results while maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Laboratory Support
- Explain laboratory procedures clearly to patients
- Assess specimens for condition, acceptability, and suitability for testing
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before and after blood collection
Medical & Technical Accuracy
- Examine collected specimens and identify abnormalities
- Perform laboratory tests and ensure accuracy and reliability of results
Regulatory Compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOH regulations and laboratory standards
- Maintain quality control and safety protocols
Administrative Responsibilities
- Document patient data accurately through charting
- Monitor inventory and ensure availability of laboratory supplies
- Submit monthly census reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology
- Valid PRC License
- Preferably with at least 3 months of experience as a Medical Technologist
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and medical technology principles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
