Reinsurance Program Management
- Develop and implement reinsurance strategies aligned with the company's risk appetite and financial goals.
- Negotiate and secure reinsurance treaties and facultative agreements.
- Monitor and manage reinsurance programs, including premium payments, claim recoveries, and reinsurance accounts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Manage and maintain relationships with reinsurers and reinsurance brokers.
Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and manage risks related to reinsurance activities, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and procedures.
- Monitor and report on reinsurance performance and risk exposures.
Financial Management
- Prepare and review reinsurance budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze reinsurance profitability.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting of reinsurance transactions.
Team Leadership (if Applicable)
- Supervise and mentor reinsurance staff, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement training programs for reinsurance staff.
- Evaluate and manage the performance of reinsurance staff.
