Job Functions
Pharmacy Operations
- Dispense prescription and regulated drugs in accordance with FDA regulations and company policies.
- Review and countercheck prescriptions prior to dispensing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform reconstitution and compounding of medications when required.
- Maintain proper handling and storage of medicines to preserve product quality.
Customer Service
- Assist customers with inquiries related to medicines and pharmacy products.
- Provide appropriate guidance to patients purchasing Over-the-Counter (OTC) medications.
- Recommend generic or equivalent alternatives when prescribed brands are unavailable, subject to professional judgment.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints related to medications.
Inventory and Store Operations
- Monitor stock availability and expiration dates of medicines and pharmacy supplies.
- Clean, organize, and replenish shelves to maintain proper product presentation.
- Check and receive deliveries from the central warehouse.
- Process and document returned medicines in accordance with the Returned Goods Policy.
Cashiering and Documentation
- Process sales transactions through the POS system and handle customer payments when assigned.
- Reconcile cash collections and prepare settlement reports for credit card and other payment terminals.
- Maintain organized filing of prescriptions and transaction documents.
- Compliance and Coordination
- Ensure adherence to all government regulations, FDA guidelines, and company policies.
- Assist in updating store personnel on product knowledge and regulatory requirements.
- Attend staff development programs, branch meetings, and pharmacist meetings as required.
Job Requirements
- Must be Licensed Pharmacist
- With at least 2 years work experience
- Above average written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to work in Sta. Lucia, Cainta
