Conduct micro testing on all submitted samples based on specifications.
Research micro-organisms in food and are tasked primarily with preventing food-borne diseases.
Study food poisoning, spoilage, and preservation.
Participate in food legislation establishment and enforcement ensuring the safety of food products.
Participate in Proficiency testing.
Observe how the processing and packaging of food products affects food preservation over time.
Implement improvements that ensure food manufacturers are complying with government food safety regulations.
Serve as researcher in a laboratory, or function as trainer with regards to EMP requirement.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or related discipline
Licensed Microbiologist
With laboratory accreditation and has a relevant experience in micro testing.
With basic food manufacturing background, food laboratory skills, and has experience in food handling.
With understanding of food-related principles and processes (GMP, HACCP, etc.)
Highly resourceful and has strong interpersonal, communication and research skills
Able to multi-task and has the willingness to learn
Highly detail-oriented, proactive and has a strong self-initiative
Computer literate (MS Office, SAP)
Willing to work in Laguna
