Regional Sales Manager

Job Description & Requirements

The primary function of this role is to take thelead for all sales activities in their assigned region. This includes managingall direct sales projects and distributor sales in their region, overseeingdirect sales from prospecting to completion and attending vessel integrationmeetings with key stakeholders, as well as attending sea trials whereappropriate.

Key responsibilities include managing direct salesto boat builders, interacting and prospecting with End Users, Naval Architects,and Designers with the intention of converting applications to use HamiltonJetproducts. Other responsibilities include presenting technical proposals,quotations for the customer, and managing the flow of technical informationbetween the customer and the factory. Regularly reporting on sales and businessdevelopment progress to the Regional Office (RO) General Manager and the Salesand Marketing Manager.

The Regional Sales Manager shall work in closepartnership with their Area Support Managers (Christchurch based) and thispartnership is the primary interface between HamiltonJet and ourcustomers.

Additionally, the RSM will work alongside theGlobal Distributor Manager and RO General Manager to develop and implement theDistributor Partnership Plan (DPP) for each distributor in their region. They will also work alongside the GlobalBusiness Development Manager and RO General Managers to ensure the effectiveimplementation of the companies Segment Development Plan (SDP).

The RSM will support the Training Manager to ensurethat effective sales and product training for distributors within their regionis delivered and measured.
