Enforce to implementation of occupational safety and health programs in the workplace following the provisions of standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts regular site safety inspections/audits including risk identification, evaluation, and development of safe work procedures.
- Ensures good relationships with government regulatory bodies; the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Department of Health (DOH), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to ensure that minimum regulatory requirements are complied with.
- Ensures that all Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) team and their equipment are ready and effectively maintained to control loss during emergencies.
- Creates and conducts relevant safety training modules and orientations.
- Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
- Creating analytical reports of safety data
- Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe.
- Manage and implement the identified organizational Safety, Health, and Security strategic plans and objectives, ensuring effectiveness and dependability.
- Ensures adherence to environmental regulations, implementing sustainability initiatives, and maintaining compliance with relevant standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- College Graduate of any courses
- Preferably has a Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training and Loss Control Management Certificate.
Experience:
- At least 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and or compliance officers is preferred.
- Preferably with solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Pollution Control Officer (PCO) duties and compliance requirements.
- Amenable to work in North Central Luzon Areas (La Union - Pampanga)
- Must be flexible and mobile.
