What you'll do:
The Regional Category Manager will be responsible for developing and controlling the execution of the appropriate category management and sourcing strategies for our Retail activation channel (print and POS/PPOS). You will maximise the value delivered to client accounts while meeting the business objectives of the organisation. This includes developing and maintaining Category Sourcing Plans, providing category expertise to local teams and supporting Business Development and Account Management teams.
•Leading APAC development and update of category sourcing strategies and managing sourcing activities with the Regional Procurement and Supply Chain Director.
•A key contributor to creating a sourcing plan for respective categories/sub-categories and control its execution
•Participating in the negotiation and contract development process with your local colleagues (case by case, for more complex situations)
•Developing and managing partnerships with internal clients (including efficient cross-functional collaboration) and relationships with strategic suppliers
•Supporting tactical procurement & Supply Chain team in proactive work with internal clients to identify, forecast and optimise demand and standardise specifications to maximise savings
•Contributing to a positive work environment and promoting teamwork
•Ensuring the meeting of high ethical standards related to strategic sourcing process
•Providing category expertise to internal customers, suppliers, clients and supporting business development and implementation activities for the assigned categories
What you'll bring:
•Extensive sourcing experience and strong record in successful sourcing retail activation projects and materials in APAC.
•Experience across multiple disciplines and technologies (print, manufacturing, packaging, Temporary POS, permanent POS, materials and finishing)
•Advanced in usage of sourcing tools
•Experience in Quality Assurance and end-to-end quality process
•Experience of strategic sourcing
•Experience with international Brand executions
•Multi-country knowledge (APAC)

Role Requirements
•You are required to be present at our office as aligned with your line manager.
•Travel across APAC locations or supplier visits will be required on occasion.
•Whilst the contracted hours for the role are 9.00am to 6.00pm, Mon – Fri, the project-based nature of the role requires that some days you will have to work outside of these hours, and you will recover that time in other moment.
