Location: Remote-based with hybrid travel to our Manila office

Role Summary

The Recruitment Resourcer will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment function by sourcing, engaging, and qualifying high-caliber talent within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, with a primary focus on Japan. This role requires strong candidate sourcing expertise, cultural awareness, and the ability to build relationships within highly specialized talent markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source and identify candidates for roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries across APAC, with emphasis on Japan.
• Leverage job boards, professional networks, social media platforms, and advanced sourcing techniques to develop robust talent pipelines.
• Conduct initial candidate screening to assess suitability against role requirements and client expectations.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Partner closely with recruiters and account managers to ensure the timely delivery of qualified candidates.
• Monitor industry trends, talent availability, and market insights across APAC regions.
• Actively support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the sourcing process.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in recruitment or talent sourcing, ideally within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
• Strong knowledge of APAC recruitment markets; familiarity with Japanese language and business culture is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Proficiency in sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and Boolean search methodologies.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
