The Restaurant Receptionist is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating flow. This role creates the first impression of the restaurant by providing excellent customer service and coordinating with service staff for an efficient dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Answer phone calls and handle inquiries or bookings
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff regarding table availability
- Monitor dining area capacity and maintain smooth guest flow
- Handle customer concerns or escalate issues when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception/waiting area
- Assist in special requests, events, or VIP guest arrangements
Qualifications
- At least Senior High School graduate (Hospitality or related field is an advantage)
- With or without experience; experience in customer service or F&B is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, presentable, and customer-focused
- Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules
