About the Role
Allied Argenta, a U.S.-based real estate investment firm specializing in affordable housing and multifamily acquisitions, is hiring a full-time Remote Financial Analyst. This role focuses on financial modeling, real estate finance, and LIHTC underwriting to support acquisitions and development projects.
This is a remote contractor position available only to applicants based in the Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced Excel financial modeling and underwriting of real estate opportunities
- Analyze market data: rental rates, vacancy, expenses, and income projections
- Underwrite and compare real estate debt structures
- Prepare and submit LIHTC and soft funding applications
- Deliver reports and present findings to acquisition team
- Coordinate due diligence submissions for lenders and tax credit equity investors
- Support transaction closings, reporting, and documentation
- Help prepare investment presentations and support related tasks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in real estate finance, underwriting, or investment analysis (applications without this will not be considered)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or Business
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial formulas, functions, models)
- Clear understanding of real estate economics, financial statements, and investment metrics
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and remotely
- Must be available during U.S. Pacific Time business hours
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with LIHTC, multifamily housing, or tax credit applications
- Familiarity with legal and transactional documents
- MBA or CPA is a plus
