Role Description The RCM Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Biñan, responsible for managing end-to-end revenue cycle processes for healthcare clients. This role includes verifying patient insurance, processing authorizations, creating and submitting claims, monitoring claim status, and following up on denials and underpayments. The RCM Specialist will post payments, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate documentation to support compliance and revenue performance. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve communicating with payers and provider teams, identifying trends in rejections or delays, and recommending process improvements. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams and leverage both technology and established workflows to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient RCM services.
Qualifications
- Revenue cycle management skills, including insurance verification, prior authorization, claims creation and submission, and denial management.
- Proficiency in payment posting, account reconciliation, and billing processes within outpatient clinics, physician groups, or similar healthcare settings.
- Experience working with practice management systems, EHR platforms, and payer portals to manage patient and billing data accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify RCM issues, interpret payer policies, and recommend process improvements.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with payers, healthcare staff, and internal teams in a clear and professional manner.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in medical billing, collections, or healthcare finance; knowledge of CPT, ICD, and HCPCS codes is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and commitment to data security and quality oversight.
