Job Overview:
The HR/Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, government statutory compliance, and employee timekeeping. The role also includes handling HR administrative tasks and ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee benefits and business-related documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll & Timekeeping
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing (regular, overtime, adjustments, and deductions).
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records, validate attendance data, and ensure completeness before payroll cut-off.
- Process statutory contributions and loan payments (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.).
- Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and government remittances.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
2. HR & Government Compliance
- Handle processing of government-related business documents such as:
- SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth
- Business permits and renewals
- Other government submissions and requirements
- Serve as first-line contact for government agencies regarding requests such as Pag-IBIG loans, car loans, etc.
- Manage benefits administration (HMO, government benefits, leave credits, etc.).
- Assist with government benefit applications (SSS loans, Pag-IBIG loans, Maternity/Sickness benefits).
- Responsible for addressing DOLE-related concerns.
- Maintain records and 201 files.
- Ensure staff and personnel records are updated and organized.

Relations & HR Administration
- Handle offboarding and conduct exit interviews for internal staff, SaaS personnel, and VAs.
- Follow up on individuals who went AWOL, as necessary.
- Issue NTEs, warning letters, and other disciplinary notices.
- Act as a mediatory person prior to escalation to the Sourcing Specialist.
- Support HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, and addressing general inquiries.
- Create strategies to re-engage VAs and other team members in company events; work collaboratively on coaching and development initiatives.

Documentation & Administration
- Prepare HR-related documents such as contracts, certifications, and memos.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of payroll and HR records.
Requirements:
- Preferably a graduate of Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll data.
- Experience in HR and payroll is required, preferably with exposure to:
- Timekeeping
- End-to-end payroll
- Government statutory processes (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth)
- Business permit processing
- Good communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and payroll systems (an advantage).
