About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor who will play a key role in supporting project planning, cost estimation, and financial control. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
- Support the project team in planning, oversight, and delivery of all estimating outputs.
- Review and analyze civil, structural, architectural (if any), MEP (if any) and all engineering drawings and specifications.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) covering all components required for project construction.
- Develop independent cost estimatesboth preliminary and detailedwith required accuracy.
- Coordinate with various design leads to verify designs and prepare quantity take-offs from drawings.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain accurate cost data for materials and construction works.
- Prepare cost comparisons for alternative design schemes to assess feasibility and cost efficiency.
- Provide professional recommendations on cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain and update the material supplier database for estimating purposes.
- Prepare Detailed Unit Price Analysis (DUPA) as required.
- Review BOQs/methodologies and support subsequent close-out actions.
- Conduct technical audits of items assigned by the Project Manager.
Recommended Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in measurement and cost estimating for construction contracts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willing to work on a project-based engagement.
- Willing to be assigned in Manila.
