Quantity Surveyor / M&E Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate tender and quotation documents.

Carry out quantity take-offs for project tendering.

Source, review, and compare costs from trade suppliers and subcontractors.

Prepare preliminary design proposals for design-and-build projects.

Conduct cost comparisons and submit reports to management for approval.

Produce and review AutoCAD drawings.

Interpret and work with M&E drawings and specifications.

Support mechanical engineering design and assist in ACMV system design.

Perform basic calculations, including duct sizing, heat load calculation, and cost estimation.

Provide technical assistance to engineers and advise on project administration and contractual issues.

Handle other QS-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Strong communication skills; able to liaise effectively with suppliers and subcontractors.

Independent, responsible, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.

Knowledge in M&E / ACMV design is an advantage.

Must reside within 30 minutes traveling distance from the office.

Job Type: Full-time / Contract / Permanent

Salary: From 20,000 per month, plus performance bonus

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Saturday 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
