The Qualifications We Seek
- 10+ years of combined experience in Quantity Surveying, commercial delivery management, and team leadership, within Australian, UK, or Western construction markets
- Proven experience leading and managing teams of 5-12 professionals, setting clear performance standards and driving team accountability
- Strong expertise in cost planning, estimating, BOQ preparation, variation assessment, and contract administration
- Hands-on experience in open-book, cost-plus, or reimbursable contract environments
- Exposure to contractor-facing commercial negotiations, claims management, and dispute resolution
- Experience conducting commercial reviews, financial audits, and open-book cost analysis
- Proven ability to manage delivery workflows, review technical outputs, and ensure high accuracy in project execution
- Experience working closely with senior executives and key stakeholders in complex commercial environments
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong cross-cultural communication skills
- Confident decision-maker with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
Your Daily Tasks
- Lead and oversee the Philippine-based Quantity Surveying team supporting international construction projects
- Review and approve QS deliverables, including cost plans, BOQs, commercial reports, and contract documentation
- Manage delivery workflows to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines
- Coach, mentor, and manage team performance while maintaining high delivery standards
- Support contractor-facing commercial reviews, negotiations, and dispute resolution
- Monitor project cost performance and identify commercial risks impacting financial outcomes
- Collaborate with international project leaders, commercial managers, and client stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement within the offshore delivery function while ensuring compliance with contractual and financial controls
